Welcome to
Suicide Missions: Russian Front TC
for WW2 GI
web site.

This poster says: "Motherland is
calling!" The woman representing
the Motherland is holding Military
Pledge in her hand.

Suggested policy for this TC:
No revenues are anticipated to come from this TC. This TC is being developed purely for the enjoyment of the WW2GI gaiming community. Thus, anything developed for this TC should be available to anyone in the WW2GI community for use in any future TC. Everybody joining the team should be aware of this policy in order to avoid contravercies like the recent one involving carbine for Battle of the Bulge TC.

Note for WW2GI enthusiasts:
This TC is not going to happen, unless you, guys, participate. I myself do not have either skills or tools to create this TC. All I can do is to maintain this web site and supply ideas and historical information. So, those of you, who can help, please sign up. Send e-mail to this TC, then we'll exchange personal e-mails and figure out the best way to get this going. If you need any information from me, do not hesitate to ask.
Eric.

News.

1/22/2001
Well, it really has been a while since anything happen on the Russian Front. I have never heard from Drew again and Masterplan is really MIA. But now it seems things started moving again: Quelog joned our team and Lt. Miller became a full time member. Also, check this out: http://www.upcomingmovies.com/enemy-at-the-gates.html. I can't wait till this movie comes out. I wonder if this scenario somehow could be incorporated into our Stalingrad episode.

It's been a while since I updated the site, but there wasn't much news. Both of our map makers were on vacations away from their computers for a while and Masterplan hasn't reported any progress on weapons either. However, there was some good news recently. Please meet our new member: Drew. He is working on the Episode 2 - "Hell in Stalingrad", and already made some progress. Also, there were some complaints about screenshots being slow to download, so I turned them into thumbnails and added a screenshot of the main switch that ends E1L1. Check them out!

7/4/2000
There is some great news! E1L1 is almost done! Check out the screenshots! Muck just need to add some weapons and ammo and it will be ready for testing. The weapons are from the original game for now. They will be replaced with the appropriate ones later. Masterplan is working on the weapons, but I don't know his progress yet. I also corrected the link to Max's web site on the team page.

All right, it's been a while since I updated the News section, although I tried to post updates on various forums. There is some good news. Max sent me a preliminary version of the E1L1 map. It was his 1st attempt and, unfortunately, it had to be redone. He might slow down a bit because he is going to out of town for the summer and away from his computer. But we have a new team member: Muck. He is now working on E1 and he is going to advise Max. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from Masterplan, so I don't know what's going on with weapons. I hope to hear from him soon.

First of all, May 9 was a V.-E. Day, also known as Victory Day in Russia. Since this is a Russian Front TC, I thought I should mention that. So, Happy Victory Day! Also, I have a good news. I've heard from Max, our level builder. He restored his Internet access and now working on the 1st level of the 1st episode. Max also told us a little bit about himself.

5/1/2000
Unfortunately, 1 team member had to drop out. But I hope he still be able to help out on a part time basis. Of course, we are always looking for more people. So, please sign up.
On other news, PPSh-41 info added to the Weapons page.

4/26/2000
We have 1 more team member.

4/24/2000
Great news! We have 2 new team members, who can actually do something for this TC. But we still need more people. So, please sign up.
Also, in view of recent cancellation of one of the TCs, I'd like to make a promise to everybody, and I hope other team members will support me on this. This TC will never be cancelled! It might get delayed at times, but never cancelled. The files will remain available for future use.

This site is ready to launch. The weapons info page is not complete yet, but I will add to it as we go along. I have all the necessary info. It is just a matter of posting it on this site: scanning, writing etc.

I am just starting this web site. This is very preliminary, just to hold the spot on the web. The details will follow shortly.
